OK just wanted to share. I been working on a little project; couponing. I'm not trying to take it to the extreme like on that TLC "Extreme Couponing" show. I just wanted to see how much I can save on things I really buy. Its so much great information and blogs out there to help. In my situation being a single mom of four, unemployed, living off unemployment I can use all the help I can get. Anyway I did my coupon matching for this week sales in my local stores, made my list, cut my coupons then off to the store I went.
So for my first couponing trip I felt good about my results. I learned that my shopping list needs to be more detailed; such as how many of each item I can buy and what size the items are. Out of seven coupons I wasn't able to use two due to size miss match. Then one coupon I couldn't use because the item was sold out. I did talk to the sales associate, she knows my face because I'm a regular customer, so she told me to come back in the morning for the new shipment. Anyway I'm not going to list everything I saved on but I will tell you what I was most happy about was my savings on Always Pads. Yes I'm excited about savings on pads. I have teenage daughters so imagine how much I spend on things like this. Okay regular price is $9.98, it was on sale 2 for $14.00, with my coupons I got 2 for $5.50. See why I was so excited..
I just wanted to share my accomplishment of the day. Anyone else getting great deals please share.
Be Bless & Smile.
